Q: What is a Developmental Pediatrician?

Q: Do you take health insurance?

A: At present the only health insurances accepted are Cigna and Aetna. Although we are not direct participating members with any of the other health insurance plans, if your plan allows for out-of-network coverage, you should be able to collect some reimbursement of the fee. We will provide you with a statement that has the appropriate codes to submit to your insurance company.

Q: Do you provide treatment as well as evaluations?

A: Yes, Dr. Asma Sadiq provides Neuro-developmental evaluations as well as treatments which include supplements, herbs and medication as needed.

Q: Will I be able to be in the same room while my child is being evaluated?

A: Yes, the parent is always in the room with the child. However if the parents want to be able to discuss their concerns without the child in the room, it is recommended that another adult be able to supervise the child who can play in the waiting area for that period.

Q: What do I need to do to prepare for the evaluation?

A: Please fill out the patient portal and sign the other Intake Form including the Cancelation Policy and email to [email protected] along with previous evaluations and medical reports plus a picture of your child at least five days prior to your appointment.
